Experienced Professional at Dr. Reddy's
Dr. Naga Raju Chakilam holds a Doctoral degree in organic chemistry from the prestigious Osmania University. He started his career at Dr. Reddy's as an R&D scientist and gradually rose ranks to Senior Director of the R&D department. Dr. Naga Raju's strong academic background and profound experience in the R&D led to the discovery of new processes that are cost-effective for manufacturing various pharmaceutical products at a commercial scale. During his time at Dr. Reddy's, Dr. Naga Raju had played a vital role for 12 years in introducing many new molecules in both regulated and less regulated markets.
Established Maithri Labs at the MSN Group
Carrying the wealth of experience gained at Dr. Reddy's, Dr. Naga Raju, along with Dr. MSN Reddy and Dr. B.S. Reddy founded Maithri Labs Pvt Ltd in 2002. Later in 2003, when MSN Group was established, Maithri Labs became a part of the group. At the MSN Group, Dr. Naga Raju played a key role in the establishment of MSN Labs, MSN Pharmachem, MSN Organics, and MSN R&D Center. At Maithri Labs, Dr. Naga Raju was at the helm leading all aspects of business operations. Driving Maithri Labs from its startup phase to an established company had been his mission since inception.
Leading Maithri Drugs
In 2014, Dr. Naga Raju led Maithri Drugs Pvt Ltd (MDPL) to embark on a journey as an independent entity. Maithri Drugs is grateful to the MSN Group for their backup in taking forward Maithri's marketing and analytical testing activities. Dr. Naga Raju's focus has been not only to preserve the commitment, vision, and values Maithri Drugs has carried on, but also to grow them independently from the MSN Group.
